The election concluded in November 2010, I was one of two people elected to the City Council; we were sworn in on December 16, 2010.

I would like to ensure that our citizens know that I am a councilman who will be Involved, Responsive and I will use my Skills to get the job done. I commit to representing our citizens well and to always do what I consider to be 'the right thing'.

I am very accessible and invite public comment should you choose to offer it.

I am proud of my work for the Town and the larger Bay Area community. My service to the Town includes the Water Conservation Committee, Emergency Communications Committee and volunteer provider of the Town's backup communications repeater, Elected to the Purissima Hills Water Board in 2006 (2010 Board President) and Board member of four Bay Area non-profit organizations, with service as Chairman for two.

I support:

  • Responsible Town fiscal management
  • Preserving the Town's rural character
  • Property rights that balance newcomers needs with those of existing residents
  • A wide variety of schools for our children
  • Green building and conservation
  • Parks and recreation programs for all residents
  • Preparedness for any emergency

I will focus on:

  • Energy and water conservation
  • Forging positive regional alliances with our neighboring municipalities.
  • Strengthening our infrastructure (cell phones, roads, sewers, water, and communications)
  • Increasing our preparedness for disasters such as earthquake or fire

I welcome your thoughts about how our Council might better serve our needs.
